Year 12 Legal Studies
Murder, Assault and an Unfortunate Budgie
Breaking news! Breaking news! The Year 12 Legal Studies class went to the Magistrate, County and Supreme Courts of Victoria! An unfortunate budgie, a bunch of stolen cars, cross examining a telcom employee, Bourke Street brawls, and Tony Mokbel appeals - so much to see!
The Legal (W)rap
Security checks, everywhere,
There’s the budgie over there,
Bail, bail, bail,
Oh no, is he telling a tale?
Nah, he’s under oath,
Important people wearing cloaks,
Magistrate, County and Supreme,
Evidence, facts and a guilty plea,
Went to the library, April bumped her head,
Eva pushed a button, Mrs Anthony went red,
Mrs Anthony said, don’t get in any strife,
Turns out Mr Kellow was carrying a knife,
Verdicts, bails and sentence hearings,
If the courts weren’t silent, we would all be cheering.
Although today was amusing to attend,
Not all the cases came to an end,
Now let’s finish it off, it was a 10 out of 10,
Can’t wait to experience this, once again!
