ST NICHOLAS GREEN DAY/ART COMPETITION 2024

Thank you to everyone who came along to support Green Day and the Art Competition. A huge thank you to the Yr 6 students who showed excellent leadership when running their stalls. Thank you to their Yr 6 teachers for all their organisation behind the scenes.

Thank you to all the students who took part in our Art Competition and entered some masterpieces! Thank you to Mrs Henry for her coordination of this event.

In total (Green Day and Art Competition combined), we raised $1500.00 for Caritas which is outstanding.

St Nicholas Art Extravaganza 2024

We are thrilled with the number of entries, artistic talent and the variety that was on display yet again in our annual art competition. This year artworks were judged by Miss Ellie Johnson and Mrs Shelly O’Sullivan. We thank them for their time and the huge task it is to choose winners in each of our sections. Students were also able to vote for the artworks in their own stage and the recycled sections to find Student Choice winners for each category. We are pleased to announce that with more than 320 entries we have raised $588.90 for Caritas. Congratulations and a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the St Nicholas Art Extravaganza this year.

HAPPY EASTER FROM NORMAN

Norman has just enjoyed his first two full days of “wellbeing work” at St Nicholas this week…..what a success! Congratulations to all our students for “keeping calm and carrying on with their learning” when Norman has gently joined their learning spaces. Many of our students have now had the opportunity for a little pat or snuggle. It’s also been lovely to see so many calm greetings and smiles on our students’ faces as they’ve entered the school gate past Mr Clery and Norman of a morning.

Happy Easter to all from our furry friend Norman! See you again next week.

EASTER HAT PARADE

It was lovely to see all the students on Monday parading their Easter Hats which were made here at school with their buddies. It was also great to see so many parents and friends supporting such an event.
