LITURGY NEWS

Family Masses

How wonderful it was to see families gathered on Sunday at our family Mass. A big thank you to the Year 1 and Year 5 teachers, students and their families who were in attendance. 

Our Family masses for next term will be held on Sunday 4th May (Yr 2 and Yr 4) and Sunday 2nd June (Year 3) at St Nicholas Church at 9.30a.m. 

These Masses are an opportunity for our School community to come together with our Parish Community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and to share a ‘cuppa ‘and morning tea afterwards. 

SACRAMENTS

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist 

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparation and program will begin early in Term 2 for our students (who are baptised Catholic) and parents in Year 3. This will include a Parent Information and Enrolment Session at St Nicholas Church on Wednesday 1st May at 5.30pm or a repeat session on Saturday 4th May at 2.00pm. At least one parent is required to attend one of these sessions. 

Mothers’ Day Mass (Advanced Notice)

A Whole School Mother’s Day Mass will be held on Friday 10th May (Week 2) at 9.30a.m at St Nicholas School Undercroft. We would like to invite all mothers, grandmothers and friends to our Mass and hope you will be able to join us for this special occasion.

ST NICHOLAS PARISH MEN'S BREAKFAST

All men of our school community are invited to attend a parish men's breakfast. 

Saturday 27th April at 7am - 8am held in the St Nicholas Church Outdoor Function Area.

It commences at 7am, and a hot breakfast will be served. It finishes at 8am, so there is plenty of time to get to kids sport, golf or the weekend chores.

Payment by donation.
