New England Sings! 2024

This exciting event will be held over the weekend of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th October at Lazenby Hall, UNE Armidale. Thank you to those children who have committed to be a part of this event and also to their families who support them in this singing adventure!

Please see the details below re final rehearsal and concert dates and times.

St Joseph's will be performing in Concert 1.

The school will provide transport (bus) for the final rehearsal on the Saturday- we will leave school at 7:45AM for a 9:30AM start. This is important to attend as the children and musicians will be organised as to where they will be standing and the order of items etc.

Families are asked to bring their children to the concert on the Sunday- I will meet you at the venue from 10:30AM.

Details re ticket sales will be sent to you as we receive them- it's good to get in early as there are many children involved in this event from across the New England region.

This Friday, 2nd August our group will attend a workshop at school, led by composer Ian Jefferson, who has written songs especially for this concert. Students from Glen Innes Public School will join us for this workshop.

Time: Primary Choir 1 11:00am – 1:00pm (arrive at 10:30am)

Primary Choir 2 2:30 – 4:00pm (arrive at 1:30pm)
