Term 2 wrap

As we wrap up a fantastic term, I want to say thank you to everyone who has played a part in making it such a positive and productive one. There has been so much happening across the school, from exciting learning in classrooms to sporting events, performances and excursions. It has been great to see our students making the most of every opportunity.

A big thank you to our teachers for their ongoing commitment to their students. Their hard work, care and consistency each day makes a real difference, and I know how much time and effort goes into making learning meaningful and engaging. I also want to thank our front office staff, who play such an important role in the smooth running of the school. From managing enrolments to supporting families and staff, their work often goes unnoticed but is so important.

Finally, thank you to our students for your positive attitude and commitment to learning. It has been great to see so many of you trying your best, learning from challenges and supporting one another. I hope everyone enjoys a well-earned break. We are looking forward to the second half of the year and all that is to come. There are plenty of exciting opportunities ahead and we can’t wait to continue the great work together.

NAIDOC Week

This year, NAIDOC Week falls during the school holidays, but we will be marking the occasion in the first week of Term 3. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to recognise and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. In 2025, we celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC Week as a week-long event, with the theme The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy. This theme honours the contributions of those who came before us and celebrates the leadership and potential of the next generation. We look forward to recognising this important week with our students when we return.
