F/1/2 CLASSROOM

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity, and growth mindset shown by all of the students in F/1/2 this term. Their love of learning shines through in every lesson, and it’s been a joy to watch each child make meaningful academic progress.

While Literacy and Numeracy have remained key focus areas, our work in Religious Education, and Inquiry has sparked rich and thoughtful conversations. This term, our Inquiry unit centred around Biological Science, where students explored the differences between living and non-living things, the basic needs of living organisms, and how animals and plants adapt to their environments.

In Religious Education we have looked at Our Church and Pentecost.

More recently, students have investigated life cycles, diving into fascinating vocabulary like metamorphosis, and learning how different animals grow and change. Their curiosity and questions have led to some wonderful learning moments!

We are especially excited for the upcoming Learning Expo on Friday, where students will showcase their understanding of Biological Science along with their creative projects in STEAM, including their very own stop motion films. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate their learning and hard work this term.

We warmly invite all families to join us in the classroom to share in this celebration before we head into a well-earned school break. We look forward to seeing you there!
