SCHOOL SPORT 2025

District and Western Sport Trials 

In 2025, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.

Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level. 

When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date. 

Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school. 

Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter. 

School Athletics Carnival

Our School Athletics Carnival will be held on Thursday 3rd July at Morse Park. Children turning 8 -13 this year are eligible to compete. All children in Years 3-6 will attend this school activity. Information has been sent out through the Sentral parent portal. Please go on and give your chidl permission to attend.

School Sporting Teams and scheduled Training

Rugby League Squad 

We have qualified to attend the Regional quarter finals in Parkes on Friday 27th June. We will play Orange Public School.

Rugby League Training will occur on Monday 23rd June during Break 2, Tuesday 24th June during Break 2 and Thursday 26th June during Break 2. All players require their headgear and mouthguards for training, please.

Girls Basketball

The girls will train Break 2 on Wednesday 25th June with Mrs Francis

Boys Basketball

The boys will train Break 2 on Wednesday 25th June with Mr Datt

Cricket Team

Our next game will be held on Friday 5th September against Orange Public School.  More information will be available in early Term 3.
