Camps and Excursions Policy

Camps and excursions can provide a valuable educational experience for our students which are complementary to their learning, as they provide access to resources, environments and expertise that may not be available in the classroom.  As we have 2 upcoming camps, it is important for you to be aware of our policy.

We are looking forward to welcoming all students attending camp and know we will provide an amazing experience for them all.  Please have a conversation with your child about the importance of safety and showing respect to everyone whilst on camp.  Students will be participating in teacher led activities as well as supervised student directed play. Being safe and respectful in their cabins when teachers are not present is also important.   This will ensure a pleasant, safe and enjoyable experience for all students involved.  Our Camps and excursions policy states 'if the teacher in charge considers an individual student's behaviour does not meet required standards, then a phone call to the parent/carer will be made to arrange collection of the student and any costs associated with this.
