This Term in STEAM Lessons

We kicked off Term 3 with Wellbeing Week, where our STEAM sessions focused on cyber safety and digital wellbeing.

Students explored important concepts including:

🌿 Green Time vs Screen Time – finding balance in a digital world

👣 Our Digital Footprints – understanding the impact of our online actions

💛 Spreading Kindness Online – becoming positive digital citizens

These lessons set the tone for a term filled with thoughtful, responsible, and connected learning.

Across the school, students are diving into creative and critical thinking through engaging, inquiry-based learning:

Prep – Interactions within and between social and ecological systems

🪳 Exploring ant farms and the incredible ways ants work together.

🎭 Storytelling through the art of shadow puppetry – blending creativity and communication.

Grade 3 – Space to Dream: How we organise ourselves

🚀 3D printing for the Commissioner’s Challenge, exploring communication between Earth and Mars and how astronauts stay inspired during space missions.

Grade 5/6 – How we express ourselves
