St Patrick's Before & After School Care

At the sensory table this week children explored a variety of tactile materials, including slime and water beads. They were very engaged using their hands to squish, stretch and manipulate the textures. This activity supports their sensory development, allowing  them to explore different sensations such as wet, slippery, and squishy, which helps with sensory regulation and body awareness.

Masquerade mask making activity was highly engaging for children. Using recycled shopping bags as a base, the masks were cut out and provided with a range of decorative materials, such as pom- poms feathers and glitter. The children were encouraged to use their imagination to create unique and expressive masks. This activity helps develop fine motor skills through cutting, glueing and it also encourages decision making.
