To support community in education and advice aligned to Online Safety for children, ySafe has provided PPS this resource to empower the adults in providing support in this area. Evacuation Drill

Last Friday the school participated in an evacuation drill. The students and staff evacuated to the field in a quick and orderly fashion. These drills occur throughout the year to ensure all staff and students are aware of the processes in case of an emergency.

Term 3 Staff Updates

Moving into Term 3 we have some changes in our staffing.

  • Mrs Mutton - We farewelled Mrs Mutton on Thursday, wishing her and her family all the best for the birth of her baby. Mrs Mutton will be taking leave for the remainder of the year to enjoy her time with her family and new born. Mrs Mutton will be replaced on a Thursday and Friday by Miss Nikolovska.
  • Mr McLeod - During the holidays Mr McLeod will become a first time dad! He will be taking leave in Term 3 to spend time with his wife and new born baby. Mr McLeod will be returning in Term 4. Mr McLeod will be replaced by Mr Zogbee.
  • New school counsellor - Commencing on Tuesday 22nd July we will be welcoming a new school counsellor to the school community. Ms Patterson is joining the PPS Team on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday supporting our Learning and Support Team, teachers, students and families.
  • New Stage 3 RFF Teacher - Miss Kawser will be joining the PPS team in the Stage 3 RFF role to replace Miss Nikolovska. Miss Kawser will commence in Week 3 and remain with us for until the end of the year.
  • New Learning and Support Teacher - Ms Palmer will be joining the PPS team and supporting students with their learning in literacy and numeracy. She will be working with students on a Monday and Friday for the remainder of the year.

I know the community will welcome the new staff into our school, and your well wishes for Mrs Mutton and McLeod have been shared and felt.

School Events

Term 3 is hosting many events to bring the community together. Just a few of these events include Multicultural Day Celebrations, Education Week Open Day, SPAF, Public Speaking Competition, Book Fair, Book Week and SCHOOL SHOW!

Holiday Wishes
