Grateful Principal

Well the end of the semester has come and I pray for families away from the routine of the school term that you are able to relax and spend time together.

If you are wondering how to fill in some of your time, here are some activities that you might like to do in the coming weeks.  These links come from Nature Play SA website.

Deep Creek Activities

Anstey Hill Activities

I am grateful for so many things that have happened over this term that we can celebrate as a community.

  • Reconciliation Week learning and celebrations
  • Foundation lunch time activities run by our School Student Leaders
  • Classes sharing their learning at School Assembly
  • The growth and learning that we have seen in the children
  • The care that is given to students through the front office when they have been unwell
  • Principal tours that have included student enrolments for 2030 and beyond
  • Men and Minors Camp
  • Incursions and Excursions for children to experience learning in different ways and environments
  • The beginning of our playground spaces
  • Passionate caring teachers and staff

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

School Census

Each year, schools are required to participate in several data collection processes for government reporting and funding purposes. In a letter attached below, I have outlined three key processes taking place this term: School Census Day, the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD), and our obligations regarding persistent absenteeism. These processes do not involve direct testing or impact on your child’s day-to-day learning. I encourage you to read the letter for further information, and please feel welcome to contact me if you have any questions.

Future enrolments

As mentioned in my gratitude's - we have families that have begun seeking enrolment for their Foundation students for as far out as 2030.  Our Foundation numbers for 2027 are almost at capacity with 2028 beginning to grow quickly.  Please, if you have sibilings or friends that are interested in joining our community - ask them to complete enrolment forms online.

I am grateful for the feedback that I receive through you as parents and caregivers within our community.

Thank You

I pray that this break from school routines is full of peace and love.
