Entries are currently up and displayed at Leopold. Make sure to get in and see all the amazing illustrations and vote for your favourite. You can also vote using the link below.
This year, Leopold shopping centre have also invited students to design the front cover of the book as part of the school holiday activities. They encourage students to visit the shopping centre to submit their entries. The final cover will be chosen by our Authors and tenant customers.
Over the next few weeks students will be participating in the Koorie Kids Schools Initiative. Foundation through to year 2's will be participating in a colouring in competition and year's 3 to year 6 will be participating in a poetry writing competition titled "Respect (Everyone has a culture, and it must be respected)"
OGPS has participated in this competition over the past five years and most years we have had students winning a NAIDOC Week medal for their amazing work. Some entries will get to be displayed during NAIDOC Week in some council chambers, libraries and a selection of winning entries will be displayed at Parliament House during NAIDOC Week.
