A reminder to all parents that next Thursday 3rd July is the last day for students for this semester. Thank-you for a productive semester 1 and we look forward to an even better semester 2. Have a great winter holiday break! See you all again on Monday 21st July when school resumes. A semester 2 timetable will be posted shortly along with a number of room changes to incorporate the new learning spaces.
We would like to wish Miss Eilish Flagg all the best with her international travel plans and thank her for being a great primary school teacher for the past few years. We would also like to wish Mrs Anushka Mediwaththe all the very best with her new teaching position in Geelong we hope the move for her family goes well. Also, to Flynn Harrington we wish him all the very best with his opportunity to complete a graduate architect year overseas.
Due to a few staffing changes we will be shuffling a few classroom teachers around in the primary section of our school. Mr Harrison Campbell will now be a full time classroom teacher in Year 3/4 B. Mrs Carlie Turnbull and Mrs Deidre McKenzie will be sharing the Year 5/6 classroom.
We would like to welcome Darcy McCallum, from Charlton, who joins our PE department Mr McCallum will be taking classes across Primary and Secondary including some Mathematics.
We would like to welcome back Hannah Douglas from family leave. Ms Douglas will be here one day per week to teach Food Technology (Home Economics) in the new Food Tech room.

Key Notes: All classes will run as per normal next week if students are not involved in a 160th event.
Wednesday Bloomfield's picnic lunch will be supplied for primary students only.
A coffee van will be onsite for adult visitors on Tuesday and Wednesday. - this is for adults only. (not students and siblings)

The weather looks like it will be cool next week but no rain. Depending on the wintery weather we will may make changes to the program on the fly during the week. The activities will go ahead as planned on the days allocated, however they may be shifted to indoor facilities.

You have to attend school on Tuesday 1st of July to find out.
Unfortunately if you are not in attendance at school on this day you will miss out.
A small number of these special gifts will be available for purchase from the school office after 1:30pm on Tuesday for $10.
This event will be held in the newly named Steel Stadium. Tickets for ex-school council members and staff members can be purchased at the front office. At the dinner we will be recognising ex-staff and school councillors who have contributed over ten years service.
Please note, you are required to be in attendance at the dinner, replied with your ten plus years of service in order to participate in the awards ceremony. Let the school office know of your service history and any dietary requirements when booking tickets.
