Introducing Love Bites Junior: Promoting Respectful Relationships
Recently our year 8 students participated in the Love Bites Junior which is a specially designed program for students aged 11–14, focusing on developing respectful and healthy relationships. Building on the success of the original Love Bites program—delivered in schools across Australia since 2003—this junior version responds to strong community feedback calling for earlier education in this important area.
The program is made up of three interactive modules, with the first, Respectful Relationships, Bullying, and Gender, exploring important topics such as gender roles, stereotypes, jealousy, sexual harassment, and ways to stand up to discrimination.
Love Bites Junior encourages open conversations and critical thinking to help young people develop empathy, confidence, and respectful behaviour in their relationships—now and into the future. |
Students created eye-catching posters to display around the school, promoting the importance of healthy relationships.

New Yoga & Meditation Classes for year 12 students
This term, we are excited to introduce yoga and meditation classes for our year 12 students, offering a calming space to unwind, refocus, and build mindfulness skills. It will be offered weekly with sessions focused on breath work, meditation and movement. The sessions are designed to support students’ wellbeing, reduce stress, and improve concentration—especially important during a busy academic year.
