From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,

I hope the long weekend afforded you some time to relax and spend with family or friends. The freezing, wet weather ensured we spent time inside. However communities in drought would be grateful for the rain.

Year 3 /4 Reconciliation

Congratulations to our year 3/4 students on their First Reconcilation, they were well prepared, reverent and we are very proud of them.

Thanks to Ms Lesa our RE Leader and the 3/4 teachers Ms Tess, Ms Prue and Ms Megan for their help in preparing the students and to Fr Leo and Fr  George for celebrating the Mass.

Year 3 /4 Camp 

The Year 3/4 classes have just returned from their Camp at 'Weekaway' in Benloch.  

It has been a wonderful experience to improve their independence and confidence.  We will have some more photos to share on the Facebook /Instagram pages and in the newsletter next week.

Many thanks to Ms Tess, Ms Lesa and Ms Prue for their organisation and preparation for camp and to Mr Reed for accompanying the students to Benloch. We are very lucky that our teachers, both those who attend camp and those who cover duties etc whilst other staff are away, value the Camp Program and support it.

The Resilience Project Parent Information Session

Last week you would have received an invitation to a parent information session about ‘The Resilience Project’. We know that the mental health and wellbeing of children is very topical at the moment and also that it is of concern for all parents. We hope as many parents as possible can attend as we share more information about this valuable program running at our school.

Farewell Paraliturgy & Afternoon Tea 

A reminder that I warmly invite all parents and families to join me for a paraliturgy and afternoon tea on Thursday 26th June at 2:30pm. I hope to see as many of you as possible attend to help me celebrate my very special time at St B’s.

PL Day 

Friday 27th June is a PL Day there is no school for students, there is an RE focus for this PL. OHSC is available on this day bookings are essential.

Assembly

There is a whole school assembly this Friday 13th June at 3pm in the hall. The year 1/2 classes will be hosting.
