Welcome to the 2026 School Year

Welcome back for the start of another exciting year of learning at Applecross SHS. A warm welcome also to our new families, especially our Year 7 students, who are beginning their secondary school journey with us. They enjoyed a fun and energetic start to the year with the Big Days In, giving them the chance to connect, explore the school and settle in confidently. 

The first weeks of Term 1 always bring plenty that is new; new routines, new teachers, new friendships, and for many, a new sense of independence. On this, I ask for your patience and understanding as we transition to Compass as our main communication platform. Like any new system, there may be moments of adjustment as we work together to make it a smooth, reliable tool for our community.
