Connect Program and House Allocations

The Connect Program will run in the same format for 2026.

Key information about the Connect program:

• Connect occurs in 2 x 29 minute sessions a week, running on Tuesdays and Friday before period 3.
• Connect provides a home base for students and is an opportunity to connect with a consistent group of peers and a significant teacher. During the Connect time, students participate in a variety of activities tailored for their year level that promote connectedness to peers and school. This includes: team building, emotional regulation, respectful relationships, year level assemblies and House competitions 
• Communication and announcements for students will occur through the Year Level Pages on Teams and during Connect

House allocations for 2026

We have 4 Houses at Northcote High School. These houses are named after local parks, landmarks and activists.

All classes stay in their same house each year, below is a table with the 2025 House allocations. We are excited to incorporate more House activities in the Connect Program, which will also include House Colour dress days!

Each house has an emblem that was created by our students.
