Annual Consent Form to use image

Throughout the year, our College photographs students participating in a range of activities. We do this to celebrate our achievements and to support communications with our families. To comply with DET guidelines, we are providing families with an Annual Consent Form.

 

This is an opt-out process. Opt-out responses are due by Friday, 27th February 2026

 

Please read the attachment and discuss this with your child/ren. If you do not want images of your child/ren being used for school communication purposes, then please complete page 3 of this form and return it to:

After the 27th February, it will be assumed that your child's image can be used as stated in the Annual Consent Form. 

 

If families change their mind at a later date, then forms can still be returned; however, it may not be possible to amend past publications or to withdraw images already in public domain.


College Council – Parent Member Ballot

As there were 5 nominations submitted for the 3 parent member positions available on College Council, it is necessary to conduct a school council election ballot to determine who will be elected to Doncaster Secondary College Council.

 

Please refer to the Compass Newsfeed posted on Monday, 23rd February, with ballot information along with candidate statements, ballot paper, and voting instructions.

 

Ballot closes 4:00 pm Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026.

Reminder: Mobile Phone policy

Students must not use their mobile phones at the College during school hours, including recess and lunchtimes. Students who use their phone and/or mobile device inappropriately at the College will be asked to forfeit their device until after school.


Canteen Payments

To keep in line with the school's mobile phone policy, only cash or card payments will be accepted at the Canteen.


Wellbeing Hub

Don't forget that The Hub (near the Canteen) is open every day at recess and lunchtime for drop-in and everyone is welcome.
