DCS Facebook Group Changes
Hello DCS Families,
Our main platform for sharing important information is Schoolbox. To make sure you receive all updates relevant to your children and family, we encourage you to download the DCS Schoolbox app. Once installed, you’ll receive notifications whenever new information is available, helping you stay up to date with school news.
Another way that many families connect is through our year level Facebook groups. These are a private group that parents in each year level are invited to join, and a wonderful way to keep connected with other parents in your child's year level.
We are currently in the process of setting up our new 2026 year level Facebook groups and will be connecting families into these new groups in the coming weeks.
If you were already connected into a Facebook group last year, we will add you into the new groups again this year. If you are new to the school and would like to be connected to the Facebook groups, could you please add Jasmin at DCS as a friend on Facebook and we will add you in.
If you would prefer not to be added into a year group and you have been, please email jasmin.thompson@dcs.tas.edu.au and we will remove you.

Fresh Fruit Donations for NAPLAN
The DCS Community would like to bless our Year 3, 5, 7 and 9 students with a special morning tea during NAPLAN this March.
If you are able to donate fresh fruit such as watermelon, oranges, apples, bananas or grapes, please bring them to the school office Tuesday 10th March.
DCS Community AGM
Our vision is to build strong partnerships, connect and engage families, provide opportunities to support and serve, to foster a Christ-centered culture and to create the best possible environment for our students and their development at school.
We warmly welcome all parents and friends of the school to be a part of our DCS Community group.
The DCS Community AGM will be held on Wednesday 4th March from 9.00am.
Subway & Liv Eat Lunch Orders
DCS Community facilitates the option for all students to order Subway and Liv Eat lunches via the Canteen Hub app.
Orders are placed through the Canteen Hub app and delivered directly to the school.
Subway is available every Wednesday.
Liv Eat is available every Friday.
Order cut‑off times:
Subway: Tuesdays by 9:30pm
Liv Eat: Thursdays by 12:00pm

Upper Room Prayer
As a school, we like to pray for both our school and the wider community.
You are invited to join with others in our community in prayer, every Wednesday straight after Worship Wednesday from 9am (this will be held in the Front Office Meeting Room straight after Worship Wednesday).
We would love to partner with you in prayer for our DCS Community.
