Message from Jess

Dear families and supporters,

I often discuss with the students that our logo represents a contract with the school. By wearing it, they agree to uphold our expectations of being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible. Additionally, they commit to demonstrating our graduate outcomes: Courage, Confidence, Compassion, Collaboration, and Inclusiveness in all their actions, no matter where they are.

As this busy fortnight comes to a close, we’ve seen numerous opportunities for students to connect with the community. Hearing the many positive reports from staff about our students' interactions, communication, and pride in wearing our logo has been truly rewarding.

3/4 Winter Sports

Last week Year 3/4 ventured to Kyabram P-12 College for a day of sports.  The day was full of opportunities to be collaborative with others from surrounding schools, and moments of being courageous when participating in new activities.  Our students represented our school brilliantly ~ well done to staff and students.

RSC Experience

This week our 5/6 students were lucky enough to get an exclusive hands-on experience at Rochester Secondary College.  Cooking, science and PE were all highlights for the students.  Thank you RSC for welcoming us into your space and preparing our students for secondary school life.

Campaspe Primary Football Carnival

Wednesday was our annual trip to Moama for the Football Carnival.  Students wore the new guernseys with pride as they played their way through the games at Jack Eddy Oval. After a win against St Mary's in the first game the boys and their coaches were confident in tackling the rest of the games.  Congratulations to the boys on an overall place of third - a BIG thank you to the coaches, Eldred and Nigel for the day.

5/6 Winter Sports

Yesterday our senior students ventured to Kyabram P-12 College for a day of sports.

School Holiday opportunity

Kelly Sports are back for another school holiday program.  This was extremely popular with families - if you are interested in sending your children to participate please have a look at what is available.

Semester One student reports

Staff are in the process of completing reports for each student. These will be released next Tuesday 25th June via PAM.  If there are families needing to have a hard copy of the report, please reach out to your child(ren)s teacher(s) for arrangements to be made.

Enrolments 2025

Enrolments for 2025 are NOW being accepted and we encourage families to submit these by the end of this term. If you know of families interested in attending St Joseph's Primary School in 2025, please encourage them to contact the school.

Those enrolling for Foundation are welcome to attend our Little Joey's transition program.

Good luck Hannah

Today Hannah will begin maternity leave.  We are all very excited about this bundle of joy! Whether a boy or a girl, this baby is going to be surrounded by so much love and happiness. We wish Hannah, Rodney and Harvey all the best on this wonderful journey!

Welcome back Mrs Trewick - we hope that you are well rested from soaking up the sunshine.

Thank you for all the support over a busy part of our term. One more week to go!
