Year One - Spotlight on Learning
Dear Families,
This week, our Year 1 students have engaged in a variety of enriching learning experiences. They explored the concepts of 'welcome' and 'blessings' in their religious studies and shared personal stories about times they felt welcomed. It was heartwarming to see the children’s photos and hear their reflections on events such as baptisms. A special thanks to the parents who contributed these photos.
In Integrated Studies, the students have been delving into the significance of being connected to 'country' through an Indigenous Australian perspective.
On Friday, we celebrated Book Week with a vibrant parade. The children showcased their costumes, perfectly aligned with this year’s theme, ‘Reading is Magic.’ The creativity and enthusiasm on display were truly impressive.
Warm regards,
The Year One Community

Thursday 29th August Father's Day Celebration
Our annual Father Figure celebration will take place on Thursday 29th August from 8.15am. Pastries, fruit and juice will be available. Classrooms will be open to check out learning spaces and you can play a game with your child through to 9.30am. Basketball court will be available for parking. A great parent child bonding opportunity is to park a little bit farther away and walk or ride to school - plus it is faster than trying to find a parking spot!
