Domain Five: Character

In the CHARACTER domain, the focus is on highlighting the positive qualities within children. Research indicates that understanding and utilizing one's strengths is linked to better school performance and overall well-being (Shoshani & Slone, 2013). Activities are designed to help children identify and practice their unique strengths, express their personal values, deepen their self-awareness and understanding of others within the community, cultivate respect for diverse strengths, and apply their strengths and values to future endeavors.

Additionally, teachers model resilient mindsets by demonstrating how to navigate small challenges in day-to-day classroom situations. These efforts aim to empower children to recognise their strengths, build confidence, and navigate their paths forward with resilience and optimism.
