Congratulations Ava

Ava Privitera (Grade 6) has been dancing at Lisa Pellin Dancers (LPD) for 9 years, she started with LPD when she was 2.5 years old!

Ava dancers four nights a week and is part of the U12 Performance Team which involves troupe work at competitions held across the state.  She learns all the genres of dance on offer at the dance school, this includes classical work involving the Australian Teachers of Dance yearly exams, the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet Russian Syllabus Vaganova, jazz, tap, contemporary, acro and musical theatre.

Ava's list of accolades are getting longer! In April she was chosen out of 346 dancers to be awarded the “Love of Dance’ Award at the Moe Eisteddfod and recently she won the 'Spirit of Dance' Perpetual Trophy at Bairnsdale Eisteddfod where over 300 dancers competed. These awards are presented on the final night of the competition in front of a full auditorium.

9 and under 11 Star Dancer - Gippsland Stars Dance competition 2023

Under 11 Runner Up Champion Dancer - Follow Your Dreams 2023, this competition is worldwide, they held a regional comp at Morwell and she qualified for the National Competition which will be in Adelaide next January
