Talking Fyans Park Finance
June 2024
As the EOFY approaches please come and collect your tax receipt for the contribution you made to the school's Building and Library Fund. If you haven’t yet made a contribution, you are still able to do so at the office or via Qkr!
Contributions fill the gap between what the government funds us to run Fyans Park PS and what it costs in reality. Expenses within a school are wide and varied! This is a snapshot of what we have used contributions for this year:
CSEF - Financial assistance for holders of Health Care Cards or Concession Cards
If you have recently become eligible, application forms are still available at the office for government assistance in the form for payment of 2024 Camps, Sports and Excursions (CSEF).
Please contact the Office to check eligibility obtain a form for a new application. Cut off for 2024 applications is the end of Term 2 - Friday 28 June.

Recycle for Reading Resources
We have registered as a donation partner with Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme. This means that when you recycle your eligible 10c containers Fyans Park will receive your refund as a donation. We are earmarking these deposits to purchase new Reading Resources. It's really easy - simply choose Fyans Park PS as your preferred organisation when you scan your app to begin.

Compass Tips
Parents please do not add Attendance Notes when students are arriving after 9am or departing before 3.30pm. Staff members do not see the parent comments written on these notes and they prevent parents being able to sign in/out at the Kiosk in Reception, so an email via Compass is a great way to convey any extra details. The Kiosk at Reception is to be used to sign/in out as this marks the roll and we know exactly who is on-site in case of emergencies.
