THEY DID IT!!! STATE CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS ......HERE THEY COME!!

At the South Metro Cross Country at Hastings Foreshore recently, our 3 qualifiers made us so very proud, representing St Joseph's, Phillip District, Southern Peninsula Division and now also representing the best of the South Metro Region at the 2024 State Cross Country Championships. The calibre of all three runners is extraordinary!
Matilda Cleary (right) - after finishing 11th out of 78 qualifiers at Regions, she qualifies for the State Event in the lightning quick time of 12:06 sec.
Tahlia Cleary (left) - finishing JUST outside the qualifying number of Top 12, she finished in 13th place at Regions and has been named as first emergency for the State Event.
Alfred Hindle - after finishing 1st at Regions in the MC classification, he qualifies for the State Event.
They will now proceed to the 3 km state event to be held on Thursday 18th July at Yarra Valley Race Club, a remarkable achievement! Good luck at the State Cross Country!
