Principal's Page

Dear Families,

We find ourselves at the end of another busy term. I commend the students on their achievements over the semester. When reading the students' Semester One Reports, I was thrilled to notice that effort and behaviour showed a marked improvement across all levels in the school. These are key indicators for engagement and learning and growth. Student attendance was also very high.

If you are experiencing difficulty in accessing the reports, please contact Lucy or Megan for assistance.

The Great Wall of St Joseph's

It was fantastic that this area of the school has finally been opened. and students can utilise it. We are still waiting for storage seats, sink and wicking boxes to be added. We are yet to receive permission from the Shire to allow access to this area from the driveway.

School Counsellor

We have a new school counsellor beginning next term on Mondays. Her name is Ashna.

She will be a wonderful addition to our school community. She will be onsite one day a week to support student wellbeing. Ashna will be an on-site counsellor who will collaborate with staff and parents to provide the best support and outcomes for students.

Junior Woolworths Landcare Grant

Thank you to Jane for applying for this grant. We were successful and look forward to the Fibonacci Garden project beginning.

Lego Club

Nicole Daniher has been running a Lego Club on Tuesday afternoon in the library between 3:30 and 4:30pm for some time. Students enjoy challenging themselves to create lego masterpieces. It reminds me very much of Lego Masters. Please contact Nicole if are interested in attending or have any questions: nicoledaniher@hotmail.com
