Children's International Film Festival

Sat 22nd June @ 11am - Classic Cinemas, Elsternwick

Earlier in the term, many of our families enjoyed attending the special free event put on your our community as a part of the Children’s International Film Festival.

This festival is ongoing and this Saturday there is an extra special screening of the new film telling the story of 'Mr Chicken goes to Mars' by the renowned Australian children's author Leigh Hobbs.

The festival will screen Leigh’s animated short film Mr. Chicken Goes to Mars (co-directed with ex-SKiPPS parent Katrina Mathers). Kids will be able to ask questions after the film! Leigh will also be available to sign everyone’s books in the cinema foyer.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to chat to the Australian Children's Laureate in 2016 and 2017 and creator of the Australian iconic characters Old Tom, Horrible Harriet, Mr Chicken, Mr Badger, Fiona the Pig.

Tickets also include the screening of the festival favourite Billy, the Cowboy Hamster.
