Principal's Message

Teresa Stone

Welcome/ Womenjica

We have had a wonderful start to term 3 and look forward to our learning together.

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week was in the last week of the school holidays and is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.

The theme this year is “Keep the fire burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.”  It reminds us of the relentless spirit  and enduring culture that continues to enrich our lives and learning.

Kind regards Teresa
