Year 7 'How to Bee'

Author Talk

Year 7 students have been studying Bren MacDibble's novel 'How to Bee' and were lucky enough to sit down to talk to the author herself!

After she spoke about her writing process and how she became a great writer, the students were able to ask her some questions about her process and her novels.

The questions asked prompted interesting conversations and the classes had a great time hearing from Bren about how her experiences have shaped the way she writes.

Checking out the bees

As part of their studies of 'How to Bee', the Year 7 English classes had the opportunity to visit the College beehives with Mr James Tudor and learn more about how important bees are for our environment.
