REMEMBERING LOVED ONES

November is traditionally the month in which we remember our loved ones who have passed away.

2 Maccabees 12:46 states that 46 It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins.

November Mass offerings envelopes are available in the gathering space. You are also invited to place names of loved ones in the basket provided. This basket will be brought up at Offertory time. Names will later be burnt and scattered in the school Memorial Garden.

ANNUAL CEMETERY MASS

Our Cemetery Mass will be held on Saturday 2nd November at 9am on the Feast of All Souls day.  Please bring a chair.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

The annual Memorial Service to remember loved ones will be held on Thursday 14th November at 7.00pm.

ST PATRICK'S SCHOOL, PYRAMID HILL

On Sunday 8th December, St Patrick’s Primary School Pyramid Hill will host a special event to commemorate and celebrate the school, which will close at the end of 2024. The school community is deeply grateful for the contributions of the principals and the staff who have served St Patrick's School, as well as the Sisters of St Joseph, who established the school in 1956.

Over the past 68 years, many students, staff, and families have formed strong connections with the school. It would be wonderful to see as many people there as possible as we join with current principal John O'Connor, staff, students, families and the broader Pyramid Hill community to honour St Patrick's school. Everyone is most welcome.
