Save the date - Junior Aths is coming!

Thursday 5th December with more details to come. Students will compete in grades, with points going to their school house.

How do I know my child's house? - in Compass, near your student photo. Chisholm is Red, McCubbon is green, Melba is yellow and Parkes is blue.

Maroondah/Manningham Division Athletics

A big congratulations to the following students who represented Kalinda Primary School at Maroondah/Manningham Division Athletics last Wednesday:

Ryder D – Hurdles

Willow G – Long Jump

Charlotte G – 800m

Ava H – Shot Put

Brock H – Triple Jump

Olivia M – Discus

Eddie P – High Jump

Flynn T – Hurdles

All students performed exceptionally well at such a challenging level of competition and should be so proud of their efforts to have earned the opportunity to compete at a division level. They put in a great deal of effort to prepare, with many even training during the school holidays. 

A special congratulations to Ryder, who placed first in the 9/10 Year Old Boys Hurdles, Ava who placed first in the 11 Year Old Girls Shot Put, and Brock who placed second in the 9/10 Year Old Boys Triple Jump. These three athletes have qualified for the next level which is the Eastern Regionals Competition.

We wish them the very best as they move on to the next stage!
