Student Achievements

Kalinda Kids shine!

Every day Kalinda kids are achieving great things in their classroom and yard, but we know that outside of school, they are often kicking lots of goals as well (literally and figuratively)! Celebrating the growth of 'the whole child' is something we treasure.

If your student has an achievement that you would like to share please send to Mrs. Hopkins so that we can celebrate them in the newsletter! Whether it is a sporting achievement, Karate grade, Cub badge, community service or amazing new skill - we want to share it with our community.

I can't wait to hear about your achievements and share them with our community!

Kalinda Grade 4 students Eddie , Kai , Max , Toby , Tom  and Xav  play for Maroondah Magic and won their Kilsyth Basketball grand final during the school break. Alongside three other team mates, and coached by Kalinda parent Phil, the boys became Under 11 A Res champions, winning the grand final 43-36.

The team exhibited great sportsmanship throughout the season, and developed as a group, culminating in a very impressive final series against strong teams which featured a number of other Kalinda students, who all played exceptionally well.

The boys have an opportunity to continue their good form as they are part of the Kalinda Junior Hooptime All Stars team which will be heading to regionals in November.
