End of Term 3 2024
We would like to take this opportunity to share with you the students' great progress and achievements in this busy and productive term.
Appreciation from parents
Y12 Roy Zhu's parents would like me to pass their gratitude to Mordialloc College for their support of Roy's applications to universities in the United States of America. Roy is the only Australian high school student who took AP Physics C and World History in 2023 and 2024. There are only about 3000 year 11 students worldwide who got a top score of 5 at AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism in 2023.
Roy took the SAT test in Dec 2023 and got a score of 1520 (full score 1600), which is top 2% worldwide. He will take two more SAT tests this November and December. Well done Roy. We wish him good luck for all his exams.
Thank you Mr Thompson, Ms Hargreaves, Miss Duggan, ISP team and in particular, to our College Assistant Principal Ms Bastin and Acting Principal Ms Stone.
Typhoon Yagi
As you may be aware, Northern Vietnam, Southern China and the Philippines are currently experiencing the devastating effects of Typhoon Yagi. Luckily, most of our international Student families are all safe and are not impacted. Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival is a harvest festival celebrated in Chinese culture. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar with a full moon at night. This is also the time for family reunions, giving thanks and praying. We wish you all a good celebration.
