Representative Sport

NSWPSSA Athletics

Noah, Jordan, & Lana competed at the NSWPSSA Athletics Trial on Wednesday 23rd and 24th October. What an achievement to have 3 St Patrick's students represent our school and the MacKillop Team at such an elite level.

Noah has finished 4th in the 11 years boys high jump, jumping an amazing 1.50m which is equal to his best jump. Noah only just missed out on progressing to Nationals but is still extremely proud of his efforts and achievements. With Noah only just missing out on a countback rule we know Noah will continue to develop in this event in the near future.

We are receiving live updates from this event through NSW Sport Unit and Lana has completed the 200m 11 yrs girls finals early yesterday morning and finished in 3rd place. She finished her 100m race in 4th and has been chosen to be apart of the relay team. Therefore Lana has qualified for the School Sport Australia Athletic Championships in December for an amazing three events.

Well done to Jordan who placed 5th in his semi final and placed 11th overall. This makes him the 11th fastest 9 year old in the state!

We are so incredibly proud of you all.

Any students in Year 1 who are born in 2017 and who are advanced swimmers also have the opportunity to compete at this event. The carnival is a fun, school event but also acts as a trial for the Conference 3 Swimming event.

Nominations have now closed for the competitive times events and heat sheets for these races are currently being finalised. No form is required if your child is participating in a grade event.

Just a friendly reminder to provide consent, on compass, for your child to attend this day. Final reminders and the program of the day will be shared with all families the week before the event.

On the weekend Lila M participated in the Girls 10 Stingrays team at the National Oztag Championships in Coffs Harbour. The team played outstanding throughout the tournament with some tough competition. They lost 2-1 in the Grand Final to Steelers earning them the National Champion Runners Up. Lila was also Captain of the team and played an integral role in leading them both on and off the field. A huge congratulations to Lila on her effort!
