Group 11

What an amazing term we have had so far!

This term has been jam packed. We have worked on our new STAR program, our IEP goals, gardening program, celebrated the Olympics, book week with a theme each day and have started our new science program.

Students took part in our classroom Olympic games. They made torches, medals and we discussed the history of the Olympics and learnt about all different Olympic sports. Each day we completed the Australian Olympic medal tally.

In our STAR program, students are working towards their IEP goals with reading, identification of numbers and prepositional language.

The students in Group 11 have been an incredible help in our gardens and helped to maintain our school grounds by weeding, spreading mulch, and picking up rubbish around the school.

In science we have made rain clouds, oobleck, play-doh, moulding sand and today we began the process of making a volcano out of paper mache. It’s all very exciting and we can’t wait to paint it and then watch the eruption.

Great work Group 11, we are so proud of you all and what you have accomplished this term.
