Brewing Up Skills: Year 11 VM Students Prepare for the New Coffee Machine

Our Year 11 VM students had the exciting opportunity to meet Paul Sadler from K-Bean! They introduced themselves and received a quick lesson from Paul on how to use our new coffee machine, arriving in Term 4. We can't wait for the students to put their barista skills into practice!

Celebrating Success in School-Based Apprenticeships & Traineeships

Head Start plays a crucial role in supporting students in Years 11 and 12 to build the skills, confidence, and capabilities needed in growth industries. We’re grateful for their partnership and encourage interested students to explore this pathway.

Kaine D (Year 12) - Plumbing Apprenticeship

Kaine Durham, a Year 12 Vocational Major student, is currently undertaking the Certificate II in Plumbing at Holmesglen.

This semester, I have been learning to work with sheet metal including cutting, folding and drilling. I began a School-Based Apprenticeship with PlumbLocal this term. They have been a great company to work for and I am learning a lot. I appreciate this opportunity to work while I finish my Year 12, and I look forward to moving into my apprenticeship full-time soon.
