Grade 3/4

Students are putting their creativity into overdrive in Grade 3/4! They are currently working on creating a 3D maze that could be solved by using a marble. Students have to transfer a template to the base and then fasten the walls of the maze and ensure that they are strong enough to withstand the weight of a marble.

Grade 5/6

Students have started looking at Leonardo Da Vinci. Although he was a famous artist, he was also an engineer, scientist and theorist who made many contributions to the world. The engineering challenge was to create an arched bridge out of only popsicle sticks that could stand on its own.

The first two weeks of term have been spent completing art work for an exciting, upcoming fundraiser. Students have been working super hard on their pieces and are excited to share these with their families.

Students have also started their entries for a competition through Dallas Neighbourhood House. The competition is a colouring competition and there are some exciting prizes to be won.
