OSHC Program – check out what we have been doing

 

Wurneet (River) – Junior

Goals  

  • To encourage children to create vibrant spring crafts to decorate around the room.
  • For the children to have the SWPBS rewards week, after a great term of using their values throughout OSHC.
  • To contribute to reinstate the Acknowledgement to Country for children to learn independently.

Intentional teaching 

SWPBS reward week – Pokemon Week

Special Activities 

Pokemon coloring and crafts and relaxing with some Pokemon TV

 

Bael (GumTree) – Middle

Goals 

  • To continue to have children see that their ideas and suggestions are being valued and used within the program.
  • For children to remember to be Sunsmart and wearing hats when outside.
  • To have children think about the kinds of activities that they would like to do next term.

Intentional teaching 

SWPBS reward week – Board Games Week

Special Activities 

Paper Plane Station, sticker and fine liner creations and suggestion Journal for children to write their ideas 

 

Morack (Mountain) – Senior

Goals 

  • For children to create an environment that allow for kindness, respect and empathy for one another. 
  • For the program to become an environment that encourages all children to play together (boys/girls and year 5s/6s).
  • For children to feel engaged and excited through activities offered throughout the program including card games, art activities etc.

Intentional teaching 

Children playing group games with one another such as basketball, two square, soccer etc

Special Activities 

Clay Activity – air dry clay magnets

 

Wonthalong  - BSC

Goals 

  • To have children express what activities they would like for term 4.
  • Continue to have children using their imagination to extend upon the activity areas.
  • Encourage younger children to engage and explore various activities and areas.

Special Activities 

Mixed paper creations and kareoke Fridays

 

Have a safe and relaxing Holiday Break
