Maths In Grade 2

Over the past few weeks, the Grade 2 students have been learning all about Place Value. They have completed an investiagtion based around Ms Fizz and her lollyshop! They have learnt that numbers can have the same amount but be shown differently and that Ms Fizz had lots of lollies!

Last Night, Michael Minus came and spoke to the VPS Parents all about how to make Maths Fun and how to foster their child's learning at home. VPS thank Michael for attending.

Equipment: Dice (6 sided), paper and pens

Good questions to ask while playing:  “What are you hoping to roll?”; “How did you work that out?”
