Year 5-6 Camp

On Monday 24th March a group of Year 5-6 students travelled to Coonawarra Farm Resort in Glenaladale, for a 3 day action packed Camp. Coonawarra Resort is nestled in a wonderful bush setting on the Iguana Creek in beautiful East Gippsland where students can challenge themselves and enjoy all Coonawarra has to offer with the extensive outdoor activities.
The bus ride there was a 4 hour drive, but we had breaks! Once we made it to camp we hiked up a mountain to a wood where we did hut building! Once we made our huts, we had water dumped on the huts as we were inside! Most people were half drenched! Eventually we made it for the 1st activity, we all enjoyed our supper then made our way to our new cabins for 3 days. Our main highlights were canoeing, flying fox, giant swings, the best disco ever and the enormous rock climbing wall! Camp was full of memories and we all agree that we enjoyed it as our last or first camp experience.
