Neighbours Every Day

Neighbours Every Day is a year-round social connection campaign promoted by Relationships Australia, which aims to empower everyday Australians to build supportive community connections. The theme for 2025 is Create, Share, Grow Belonging.

Neighbour Day – 30 March

Keep it simple! Get together for a cuppa with a neighbour or picnic/BBQ at your local park. Maybe you’re a group of avid gardeners, or a group who enjoy a local sport or outing, perhaps you have a regular meal with an older person in your neighbourhood, or have made connections with newcomers, or you swap locally grown produce, or the kids in your street play together regularly (check out the Promoting Play in your Local Neighbourhood for lots of ideas). Whatever it is, we’d love to know what you get up to that builds connection.
