Library Borrowing

It has been wonderful to see so many students visiting the library during lunch breaks and enjoying reading! The enthusiasm for books has been truly inspiring, and I am so pleased to see our students developing a love for reading.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to encourage your child to bring their library bag on their designated library lesson day. This will allow them to borrow books to take home and continue their reading journey.

  • Monday:          Year 3
  • Tuesday:          Year 2 and Year 5
  • Wednesday:    Kindergarten and Year 6
  • Thursday:        Year 1 and Year 4

Additionally, please remember that your child’s Premier's Reading Challenge Username and Password are available from their class teacher. Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 will complete the challenge with their class at school, but you are more than welcome to complete the challenge at home instead. It’s a great way to keep them engaged with reading, and I encourage you to check in with them about their progress!

As the school holidays approach, it’s the perfect time to keep reading. Any books read over the holidays can be included in the Premier’s Reading Challenge, so let’s keep those pages turning!

Thank you for your continued support, and happy reading!
