Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you for your overwhelming response to our recent survey. The areas that received most responses were on parenting, wellbeing and mental health. Your valuable input has helped us shape our approach to supporting families and we are excited to announce that we have secured Luke Kennedy as our first guest speaker for 2025.
Luke Kennedy is an acclaimed speaker, author and mental health advocate who shares powerful insights on resilience, self-awareness and personal growth. Drawing from his own experiences, he inspires audiences with his authentic and relatable approach to overcoming challenges.
We encourage all parents and carers to join us for this important and engaging session. Luke will also be presenting to our staff earlier that day, ensuring a shared understanding of key messages across our school community.
We also want to take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful success of Harmony Day. It was wonderful to see so many parents attending our special assembly, celebrating the richness of our diverse community. The day was a powerful reminder of the importance of living in harmony with one another, showing kindness, and treating others with respect. The students embraced this message beautifully and we hope to see these values continue to shine in our school community.
Additionally, we have begun Kindergarten 2026 interviews and it has been lovely to hear such positive comments about our school in the wider community. Many families have shared that they chose our school based on recommendations from current parents, and we are truly grateful for your support. If you have a child due to begin Kindergarten in 2026, we encourage you to complete an enrolment form as soon as possible as places are filling quickly.
Lastly, thank you to the families who have supported our annual Easter Raffle by purchasing raffle tickets. I ask all families to support our first fundraiser for 2025. This is always a fun and exciting event for our students and we appreciate the contributions of Easter eggs next week. The students wear mufti clothes on Friday 4 April and donate Easter eggs.
Thank you for your continued support—we look forward to seeing you at Luke Kennedy’s presentation on 6 May at 6pm and appreciate your generosity towards the Easter Raffle.
In the next newsletter the term two calendar will be released.
Thank you for your continued support—we look forward to seeing you at Luke Kennedy’s presentation in May.
Kind Regards,
Grace
