Premiers' Reading Challenge 2025

Mrs Amanda Johnson & Ms Laura Davies

Congratulations to Prep A for completing the Premiers' Reading Challenge for 2025!

They have already read 30 books and had their list entered into the recording system.

This week we have been lucky to participate in the Book Bash held by the State Library of Victoria. This program is funded by the Department of Education in Victorian to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Premiers' Reading Challenge. These Writer's Workshops were held by famous authors. On Tuesday this week, the 5/6's worked with author Ahn Do, on Wednesday the 1/2's worked with Sally Rippin and on Thursday the 3/4's worked with Amelia Mellor. Please see more details about the authors below. Each Grade's news page also shares a bit more about their lessons with the authors and some photos too.

We now have 71 days left to complete the Premiers' Reading Challenge. Keep up the great reading over the holidays. The challenge finishes in Term 3, Week 7.
