Fete

Thank you to all the families who contributed to our school fete, whether by volunteering or donating items for the hampers and mystery bags. Your generosity was greatly appreciated. The Year 3/4 children loved performing their songs on stage, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm.

Literacy

Both year levels have now completed their first novels of the year and are beginning new texts. Next week, the Year 3s will start reading Off We Go Around Australia. If your family has travelled to a significant place around Australia, feel free to email Miss Stacey or Mr. Brown any pictures for 'Show and Tell.'

Year 4 students have just begun Leo and Ralph—a heartwarming story about friendship, growing up, embracing your interests, celebrating differences, and navigating life's changes.

Maths

Both Year levels will be learning about Multiplication and Division for the remainder of this Term.

Year 3

The Year 3 students were fortunate to attend weekday Mass this week, where they learned more about Lent. Some students had the special opportunity to participate in the Prayers of Intercession and the Offertory. Later, Fr. Jun Jun visited the Year 3 classroom and answered the children’s insightful questions.

Year 4

For those who may not be aware, Mr. Harding is currently on paternity leave but is returning term 2 week 3. If you have any queries, please feel free to email Miss Kerr or Miss Bonner at georgiakerr@sjcobram.catholic.edu.au & aliciabonner@sjcobram.catholic.edu.au
