Dear families,
A very big thank you to the school community for supporting P&F activities this term. Selling Zooper Doopers, Ride2School Day, Easter Colouring Competition and the return of the Easter Raffle.
Thanks to those who donated their time to assist with activities and to those who donated items to the Easter Raffle.
Tomorrow’s Assembly after the Foundation/Year 1 Easter Sunday Liturgy will be very exciting with Easter Colouring Competition prize winners announced and Easter Raffle prizes drawn. A great way to end the first term.
Details for Term 2 activities are being finalised and will be released in early Term 2. We hope to hold a student social activity in Term 2 along with the Mother’s Day Stall and Mother’s Day Celebration.

Current events and fundraisers
Mother’s Day Stall
Details are being finalised for the Mother’s Day Stall and will be sent out on the first day of Term 2.
The annual Mother’s Day Stall gives students the opportunity to purchase a gift for their mother or someone special.
We like to support local businesses, if you have any ideas of businesses or products that would be suitable please contact parentsandfriends@sbshepparton.catholic.edu.au as soon as possible.
Mother’s Day Celebration
Details are being finalised for a Mother’s Day Celebration on Friday 9 May 2025. The celebration will be held from 8.30am – 10am, including a special assembly.
More details will be shared once Term 2 starts.

Zooper Dooper Fridays
We held 5 very successful Zooper Dooper Fridays during Term 1.
Thank you to parents who volunteered to sell Zooper Doopers!
We look forward to updating the school community on how funds raised are spent.
Easter Colouring Competition
Winners of the Easter Colouring Competition will be announced at the final assembly tomorrow.
Well done to all the students who returned their colouring pages and put a lot of effort into their work.
Easter Raffle
A very big thank you to families who donated items for the Easter Raffle and those who brought raffle tickets.
There will be a lot of excited people at assembly tomorrow when raffle prizes are awarded.
There will be over 35 prizes awarded!
We look forward to updating the school community on how funds raised are spent.

P&F Involvement
Involvement in the P&F and the school community comes in all different forms and doesn't need to be a big time commitment.
Please reach out to the P&F if you may be able to help out during the year. Requests for help are sent out via Pam/Simon and the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member – please contact us to have a chat. Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions/ suggestions.
Register to be a volunteer
If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.
You can register your interest via email parentsandfriends@sbshepparton.catholic.edu.au.
*Volunteer requirements*
Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. These details must be supplied to the school office to also be held confidentially. WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
Business interest
Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?
