Year 5

Year 5 Dance Project “Hoedown Throwdown!"

This week, Year 5 have been tasked with creating their very own dance routine to Miley Cyrus’ “Hoedown Throwdown” from the Hannah Montana movie. Students have been working in mixed groups of boys and girls, collaborating to design fun, coordinated sequences that match the upbeat energy of the song.

It has been wonderful to see the teamwork on display - from sharing ideas and practising synchronised moves, to encouraging one another and refining their choreography. Each group is showing creativity, enthusiasm and plenty of personality in their routines!

We’re very much looking forward to seeing the end results and celebrating all the hard work the students have put into their performances. Yee-haw, Year 5! 🌟🕺💃
