Mr. John Ryan - Deputy Principal

New Uniform Guidelines Uniform 2025

The College has been working through the consultation process of developing new uniform guidelines. Two new features which require your attention are:

  1. The uniform at MMCRC will now be a twelve-month-a-year uniform. This allows for students to wear uniform commensurate with the weather being experienced. Reference to the traditional summer and winter uniform, will still used as items cannot be mixed and at given time of wearing.
  2. An exemption statement will be added. This will be a similar process to the Mobile Device Policy.
  3. A breach system is being proposed for removable and non-removable items.

Health and wellbeing-related exceptions:

Specific exception

Suggested documentation

Students with a health condition

Student Health Support Plan

Special Circumstances:

If a student has special circumstances requiring different apparel other than the College uniform (e.g. the student has a health issue) These exceptions must be requested in writing to the Deputy Principal Wellbeing. The request will be considered for approval and documented.
