OSHC

 OSHC

We’re thrilled to share the exciting activities our students have been diving into over the past fortnight! Our garden has become a bustling hub of activity as children have been enjoying hands-on learning about plants and nature.

In addition to their green thumbs, our students have been busting moves in our Dance Club! From hip-hop to contemporary, they’ve had an absolute ball dancing their little hearts out!

And with Father’s Day just around the corner, our young artists have been busy creating heartfelt cards for their dads and father figures. They’ve used a variety of materials to design unique and personal messages, which we’re sure will bring smiles to many faces.

Cooking Club

The last few weeks in Cooking Club have been all about pastry! Students have been busy crafting delicious Apple Pastry Turnovers, Raspberry and Cream Cheese Pastries and Cheese and Vegemite Pinwheels. The students have not only showcased their culinary skills but also demonstrated impressive teamwork and perseverance, especially when faced with the occasional kitchen challenge.

By working together, carefully reading recipes, and supporting each other, they've created both tasty treats and valuable learning experiences.

We look forward to seeing (and tasting) what’s in the kitchen next week!

Child Care Subsidy Balancing

Services Australia is balancing CCS payments for the 2023–24 financial year.

Families must confirm their income with Services Australia so their payments can be balanced. Once Services Australia has balanced a family’s CCS, they will send them an outcome.

Families must confirm their 2023–24 income by 30 June 2025.

If they don’t, their CCS will stop. This means they’ll pay full fees when they use child care.

Services Australia can start a family’s CCS again, but only after they’ve confirmed their income. This means families may miss out on CCS.

More information about Balancing Child Care Subsidy can be found here Balancing Child Care Subsidy - Child Care Subsidy - Services Australia

Payments

Just a reminder statements are sent out on Monday’s showing attendance charges for the previous week. Please ensure payment is made within 1 week (unless you have negotiated a different schedule with Kelly) to avoid cancellations to your child OSHC bookings.

As always, families are welcome to give us feedback about any aspect of the program. We welcome your input! Please feel free to come in and have a chat with Kelly or Amanda or email oshc@beaumarisnorthps.vic.edu.au
